Stuper 14 and other distractions
It never fails to surprise me,the number of ways that people in this modern consumer society distract themselves from the real important issues of our times.
Take for example the amount of hype and sheer wank that surrounded the Stuper 14 final the other week.
The amount of expectation from people that this was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread was all consuming to the point of suffocation.
How amusing it was then to find out that the game was so fogged in that the fans at the stadium, and others watching on their ticked up plasma screens could hardly see anything that was happening!Damn shame!
It was ironic that fog caused all the trouble because that is what is in most of these rugby loving suburbinites brains!
I guess a lot of them put that little disappointment out of there minds by heading down to the warehouse on sunday to buy some more useless crap for their 2.4 pasty kids or indulging in some other cliched activity like dirt bike riding or taking the boat out.
